When George Sandings is sent to Buenos Aires, he has just one month to determine the reason behind the death of Earl Edgar Leer.

However, as he delves deeper and deeper into the Earl's dark and immoral life, George finds himself investigating a series of events reaching back into a lost and forgotten history. Earl Edgar had meddled with things that should have been left buried. And on George's return to London, he begins to fear the spirit that has haunted the Leer family has followed him.
