June was a better month than May, at least on numbers. With an audiobook and a couple of graphic novels, I managed more time this last months to simply get through books in my reading pile.

War Lord was the big one. I hadn’t even known the paperback had come out until I walked past my local bookshop. This, people, is why local bookshops are important. I’ve no idea how long I might have gone without knowing it was out if I only relied on what I see online.

Unfortunately things ended on a bit of a low note with The Incal, which was far too ambitious for its abilities. But it was an interesting read, it nothing else.

As always, you can keep up with what I’m currently reading at my GoodReads page.

And how about you? What were you reading in June? Let me know by sharing in a Comment so that I know what I should be adding to my reading pile.
