My August Reads…

I haven't managed to get a lot of reading done this month. My mental health has put my mind in a place where concentrating hasn't been easy, which has pushed me more towards TV than books.

I will say I was pleasantly surprised by The Thursday Murder Club. I tend to mistrust anything written by a celebrity. But this offering from Richard Osman was a fun, cosy little read. It's not going to be one of the classics we talk about in fifty years, but it hit every note it was aiming for if you're a fan of Sunday afternoon detective stories.
